Education and Panchayati Raj Minister’s Public Hearing in Chechat

Jaipur : Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Madan Dilawar conducted a public hearing in Chechat, Kota district, on Monday. During the session, the minister provided updates on the sanctioned development works in the area. He announced ₹2.5 crore for the construction of the Sanskrit College building in Chechat, noting that the new college has already started operations this academic session.

During the hearing, Mr. Dilawar approved ₹10 lakh for the construction of a community hall in Saleda Kalan Gram Panchayat based on villagers’ demands. A total of 251 grievances were submitted at the camp, and the minister instructed concerned officials to take appropriate action.

Approval of 13 New Veterinary Sub-Centers

The minister highlighted the approval of 13 new veterinary sub-centers in Block Khairabad under the Ramganjmandi Assembly constituency by the Animal Husbandry Department, a record-setting achievement. These centers will soon be established in villages such as Khimch, Khambkot, Lakharia, Askali, Doliyo, Kalyakhedi, Khedli, Saleda Khurd, Hariakhedi, Deoli Khurd, Jhiri, Kudaila, and Manda.

₹19.65 Crore Sanctioned for School Construction

Mr. Dilawar shared that construction works amounting to ₹19.65 crore have been sanctioned or are underway in government schools within the Ramganjmandi constituency. An additional ₹7 crore in approvals will be issued soon. Construction activities are ongoing or will begin in 68 schools in the constituency.

₹144.89 Crore for Water Projects

For the restoration of ponds, water harvesting structures, and irrigation projects, ₹144.89 crore has been sanctioned in the constituency. Additionally, ₹2.32 crore from the MLA Local Area Development Fund has been allocated for various works.

Health and Infrastructure Development

The minister announced ₹3.85 crore for the construction of new buildings for sub-health centers, primary health centers, and community health centers in locations such as Askali, Budhkhan, Duhaniya, Saleda Kalan, Sahrawada, Bhanwaria, and Ravta.

For roads, bridges, and culverts, ₹84.24 crore has been approved, while ₹12.27 crore has been allocated for drinking water projects in the region.

Action Against Contractual Worker

During the hearing, Mr. Dilawar addressed a complaint about a contractual employee accused of demanding bribes for land compensation. Shiv Mali and his brother Kailash Mali submitted a written complaint stating that approximately 2.5 bighas of their land had been acquired for the construction of an expressway, and compensation of ₹1.7 lakh per bigha had been approved. However, clerk Sanjay Jain allegedly demanded a commission to release the payment.

The minister directed Sub-Divisional Officer Nita Vasita to immediately remove the accused clerk. The officer confirmed that action would be taken to dismiss the contractual employee involved in the misconduct.

Honor for Kota District Scouts and Guides

On this occasion, the Education Minister honored the Kota district team that participated in the state-level Moot Meet camp of Scouts and Guides. The team was recognized for securing first place in disaster management at the state level.
