Children’s Day Celebrations Held in Khawzawl with Recognition of Talented Youth
Khawzawl : As part of the Children’s Day celebrations, the District Child Protection Office (DCPO) in Khawzawl organized an event at the Deputy Commissioner’s Chamber to honor exceptional and talented children in the district. During the program, three outstanding children excelling in academics and sports were awarded citations and cash prizes. The event was presided over by Khawzawl Deputy Commissioner, Pu K. Vanlalthianan.
Pi Lalsiammawii, District Child Protection Officer, addressed the gathering and shared the reasons behind recognizing these young achievers. Following her address, prizes were distributed to the honorees.

- Malsawmzuala (12), son of Llachhantluanga (L), Hermon Veng, Khawzawl
- Awi Ngaih Dim (17), daughter of Vung Khaw Pau, Ngaizawl
- K. Lalrinkima (17), son of K. Laldawngliana, Electric Veng
The program was attended by officers from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, members of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) Khawzawl, staff of the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), and a large number of children.
