Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K. Stalin Distributes Appointment Orders to 3,359 Selected Personnel Through the Uniformed Services Recruitment Board
Chennai : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M.K. Stalin today distributed appointment orders to 1,000 candidates as a representation of the total 3,359 selected for the roles of Grade II Police Constables, Jail Wardens, and Firefighters through the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board. The event took place at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai.
The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s commitment to strengthening law enforcement by filling vacant positions, constructing new police stations and residential quarters, providing better infrastructure, and promptly addressing the welfare of police personnel through initiatives like the “Own Your House” scheme. He assured that the remaining 2,359 selected candidates would receive their appointment orders in their respective districts or divisions under the supervision of local authorities.
From December 4, 2024, basic training will commence for Grade II Police Constables across eight police training schools in Tamil Nadu, while Jail Wardens will begin their training at the State Prison Training Institute in Tiruchirappalli starting December 2, 2024.
Dignitaries at the event included Minister for Home Affairs Mr. S. Regupathy, Deputy Mayor of Greater Chennai Corporation Mr. M. Madhivanan Kumar, and senior government officials.
