Wherever Gujaratis live, Gujarat lives there: Governor Shri Patel

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has said that Gujaratis are a unique society of the country and the world, wherever they go, they remain united with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Parivar, Vedic culture. They unite as a community and share each other’s joys and sorrows. That is why it is also said that wherever Gujaratis live, Gujarat lives there. The All India Gujarati Samaj Sangathan does the work of making this saying come true. He said that the task of connecting the future generation with Gujarati culture and traditions through various programmes and activities by the Sangathan is a big responsibility. Sanjaybhai Patel, President of Bhopal Gujarati Samaj, was congratulated on becoming the unopposed head of this important organization.

Governor Shri Patel was addressing the oath ceremony organised by All India Gujarati Samaj. The programme was organised at Gujarati Bhavan Bhopal. Governor Shri Patel was felicitated with a memento and shawl on behalf of the society. The Governor and the guests inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Governor Shri Patel honored the state head / national office bearers of the society in the programme. The people present were administered the oath of the disciplined life campaign.

While addressing the programme, Governor Shri Patel said that I am very happy that the programme is being conducted in the mother tongue Gujarati. He said that the responsibility of the organization of the society is not the work of authority, but the responsibility of accountability. It is the work of taking everyone along. He appreciated the collaborative approach and the trust demonstrated in the organisational activities by the newly elected president of the All India Gujarati Samaj, Shri Patel. He mentioned his experience and work as treasurer and general secretary in the organisation. He congratulated the members of All India Gujarati Samaj for selecting a capable person as the head of the organisation.

On this occasion, the head of All India Gujarati Samaj, Shri Himanshu Kumar Mehta, Bhopal Shri Chetan Patel, Shri Paresh T Thakkar and scholar Shri Jai Bhai Vasavada were present on the stage.
