District Collector’s Directive Leads to Major Action by Child Labor Task Force

Action Taken at Seven Automobile Repair Shops in Transport Nagar; 11 Child Laborers Rescued and Handed Over to Child Welfare Unit

Jaipur : Acting on the orders of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, the Jaipur District Child Labor Task Force carried out a significant operation on Sunday in Transport Nagar. The task force raided seven automobile repair shops and rescued 11 child laborers working there. The rescued children were aged between 11 and 15 years.

Senior Labor Inspector, Mrs. Ankita Maharshi, stated that the rescued children were handed over to the team from the Child Welfare Committee at Gandhi Nagar for counseling and temporary shelter.

Representatives from the Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save Childhood Movement) and Prayas organization, along with Labor Inspector Mr. Rahul Saplaniya and Transport Nagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mr. Rajesh Bafna, accompanied by police personnel, were present during the rescue operation.
