Chief Minister likely to inaugurate Central Hospital and ‘Khoya- Paya Center’ at Mahakumbh
Prayagraj : Prayagraj is gearing up to host the world’s largest human gathering and the biggest event in Sanatan culture, Mahakumbh 2025. More than 40 crore devotees are expected to come to Mahakumbh from across the globe. Preparations are in full swing to ensure the event is both divine and grand.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Mela Authority and various departments are working with unparalleled zeal and dedication. To oversee these efforts, the Chief Minister will personally visit Prayagraj starting January 13 to inspect and inaugurate key infrastructure projects, including the newly built Central Hospital and Khoya-Paya Center in the Mela area, along with other ongoing developments.
The grand Mahakumbh 2025 will commence with the Paush Purnima Snan on January 13. Extensive permanent and temporary construction projects are underway across Prayagraj, including the Mela city. Key departments such as the Mela Authority, Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department (PWD), Prayagraj Development Authority, and the State Bridge Corporation are diligently working to complete these projects, many of which are in their final stages.
To ensure smooth preparations, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Prayagraj ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit. During his visit, CM Yogi will inaugurate the Central Hospital, the Khoya Paya Center in the fair area, and the Public Accommodation Center in Sector-1. He will also inspect ongoing construction projects within the Mahakumbh area and address police personnel stationed at the Police Line Parade Ground, boosting their morale ahead of this event.
This will be CM Yogi’s second visit to Prayagraj ahead of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 13. During this visit, CM Yogi will inspect the ongoing construction of the 6-lane Ganga Bridge and review the progress of the Alopibagh flyover. Following this, the Chief Minister is expected to address and inaugurate various works in the fair area before inspecting the Ganga River Front Road in Jhunsi.
Additionally, CM Yogi may visit the Arail Bandha Road, Triveni Pushp, and the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant. He is also likely to inspect the Shivalaya Park, currently being developed by the Municipal Corporation in the Arail area.
