Madhya Pradesh emerging as a centre of adventure tourism: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has congratulated the people of the state for the Adventure Tourism Award conferred on Madhya Pradesh, the heartland of India, famous for its natural beauty. CM Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is emerging as an important centre of adventure tourism. CM Dr. Yadav has greeted all the people of the state including the Tourism Department of Madhya Pradesh on the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board being awarded the ‘Best Adventure Tourism State’ Award at the National Conference of Adventure Tour Operators Association of India in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh received this award on 4 December.

It is noteworthy that adventure tourism has enhanced significantly in Madhya Pradesh with the operation of activities like sky diving, trekking, river rafting, paragliding and jungle safari. Along with the increase in the number of tourists due to these adventure activities, there has also been an unprecedented increase in employment opportunities.
