Governor Radhakrishnan attends Beating Retreat Ceremony on Navy Day
Mumbai : Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan attended the ‘Beating Retreat’ and Tattoo Ceremony organised by the Western Naval Command of Indian Navy on the occasion of Navy Day at Gateway of India in Mumbai on Wed (4 Dec).
The impressive event included breath-taking performances by the naval central band, the Beating Retreat Ceremony, helicopter fly-past, Continuity drill by naval personnel and the Hornpipe Sailor’s Dance by girls of the Sea Cadet Corps.
Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command, serving and retired officers of Indian Navy and invitees from various walks of life were present.
At Home Reception
The Governor also attended the At Home reception organised by the Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh at the Navy House on the occasion of Navy Day. The Governor extended his Navy Day greetings to the serving officers and veterans present on the occasion.
