Senior AAP Leader Manish Sisodia Engages with Auto Drivers in Delhi’s Burari Constituency

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia conducted a dialogue session with auto drivers in the Burari Assembly constituency on Sunday. During the event, the auto drivers expressed their satisfaction with Arvind Kejriwal’s work, stating that they now lead a dignified life thanks to his efforts. The AAP government waived off several fees for them and provided financial assistance of ₹10,000 to each auto driver during the COVID-19 pandemic. They mentioned that the government has always stood by them whenever needed.

Manish Sisodia praised the contributions of auto drivers, saying, “Auto drivers don’t just transport passengers; they carry people’s dreams, necessities, and responsibilities, ensuring they reach their destinations safely.” He emphasized that auto drivers wish to see Arvind Kejriwal as Chief Minister again because of his commitment to delivering on promises and implementing transformative changes.

Through a social media post on X, Sisodia shared his experience from the event, stating, “Today, I interacted with auto rickshaw drivers at Burari Grounds and was deeply moved by their stories. It was heartening to learn that they are extremely happy with the work of Arvind Kejriwal’s government.”

One auto driver shared how his daughter received quality education in a government school and now teaches at a Kendriya Vidyalaya. Another mentioned that he transferred his child from a private school to a government school and is very satisfied with the decision. The auto drivers appreciated reforms that have eliminated unnecessary visits to transport authorities and reduced fees. They credited Kejriwal for enabling their families to live with dignity in Delhi.

Sisodia highlighted that the AAP government recognizes the hard work of auto drivers, who keep Delhi moving with their relentless efforts, navigating traffic and challenges daily. He reiterated that Kejriwal’s administration has always prioritized the welfare of auto drivers, their families, and their future, ensuring better education, healthcare, and infrastructure for all citizens.

In closing, Sisodia urged auto drivers to support Kejriwal once again, acknowledging his transformative initiatives that have benefited every household, regardless of political affiliation.
