Organizing Geeta Mahotsav at an international level is a matter of joy and pride: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that organizing Gita Mahotsav at the international level is a matter of happiness and pride. The Haryana government has an important role in shaping this event. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav extended best wishes to the countrymen, people of the state, and Haryana Government on Gita Mahotsav and Gita Jayanti.

Various programmes will be held in the state till 12th December

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Kurukshetra located in Haryana is the same place where the epic ‘Gita’ was composed after Lord Shri Krishna imparted the teachings of Karmavad to Arjun during the war between Kauravas and Pandavas five thousand years ago. Revolutionaries like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, and Rajguru took inspiration from the book written by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak based on the teachings of Karmavad and fought for the independence of the country.

Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, a narration by Lord Krishna explaining the mystery of life in a sacred spirit, is still readable and contemporary for everyone. For us, Shrimad Bhagavad Gita is not only a holy book but also a path to prove the meaning of life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh Government is organizing Gita Mahotsav from 8th to 12th December in which various programmes focusing on Shrimad Bhagwad Gita are being organized.
