Jaipur : Through Saras fairs, rural self-help group women are not only creating livelihood opportunities but are also presenting an excellent example of women empowerment in the country. This is undoubtedly a milestone in the journey of livelihood.

The capital city Jaipur is once again buzzing with the Saras Livelihood Fair 2024. This fair provides essential everyday items from different states across the country. The fair is being organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra and Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute in Jaipur and will continue until December 30. There are more than 300 stalls, offering products ranging from clothes, footwear, jewelry, to food items.

On Monday, Para-Olympic gold medalist Ms. Avani Lekhara and Rajeevika brand ambassador Mrs. Ruma Devi visited the Saras Raj-Sakhi National Fair 2024, interacted with the women stallholders from self-help groups, and encouraged them.
