Tragic Tanker Accident on National Highway in Bhankrota: CM Bhajanlal Sharma Visits Site, Announces Assistance for Victims

Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday visited the site of a tragic tanker accident on the Jaipur-Ajmer National Highway in Bhankrota. He reviewed the situation, gathered detailed information from police and district administration officials, and instructed them to provide immediate assistance to those affected. He also inspected the ongoing rescue and relief operations at the site.

Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow over the incident, describing it as extremely unfortunate. He assured that the state government would conduct a thorough investigation. Offering condolences to the bereaved families, he said, “May God give the grieving families the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital to check on the injured. He instructed Health and Medical Minister Gajendra Singh Khinwsar and hospital authorities to ensure the best possible treatment for the victims. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham, District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph, and other senior officials were present during the hospital visit.

Financial Assistance Announced
Demonstrating sensitivity towards the tragedy, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced financial assistance on behalf of the state government. Families of the deceased will receive ₹5 lakh each, while those severely injured will be provided ₹1 lakh each.
