Adani Defence & Aerospace to Acquire Air Works India (Engineering) Private Limited for an Enterprise Value of INR 400 Crore

Ahmedabad : Adani Defence Systems & Technologies Ltd. (ADSTL) has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire an 85.8% stake in Air Works, India’s largest private-sector MRO company with an extensive pan-India footprint.

Air Works provides a comprehensive range of aviation services, including line maintenance, heavy checks, interior refurbishments, painting, redelivery checks, avionics, and asset management. The company offers base maintenance for narrow-body, turboprop, and rotary aircraft at facilities in Hosur, Mumbai, and Kochi, with regulatory approvals from over 20 civil aviation authorities worldwide.

In addition to its leadership in civil aviation, Air Works has developed significant expertise in defence MRO, executing projects for key platforms of the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.
