“CM Yogi: Whenever a disaster strikes the country, Rahul Gandhi flees to Italy.”
Lok Sabha 24 : Sangli – Launching a scathing attack on Congress Party on Wednesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the party was speaking as many lies as it could in this election, because it knew that it would become history after this election. “It knows that people have already rejected the party after this, the people of the country will completely reject Congress.
Addressing a public meeting in Sangli Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra, Yogi said: “It knows that people have already rejected the party. In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, the public did not even give Congress 4 seats, which means, they do not even have four people to carry the corpse of the party. Now, they have fallen back on their old tactic to divide the Hindu society again.”
The Chief Minister accused the Congress of trying to divide Hindus under the garb of caste census. “After triggering a fight among Hindus, they will quietly distribute the reservation meant for OBCs to Muslims”, he stated. He urged people to not to bring Congress, which disrespected Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar to power once again at any rate.
CM Yogi described Maharashtra as the land of brave hearts, who played an important role in giving India the border extension from Attock to Cuttack. This land of Sangli is not only about courage and valor but also about art and culture. The hardworking farmers and energetic youth here move forward with pride in their heritage, he added.
He further mentioned that Maharashtra has given a lot to India. “When we talk about Maharashtra, every Indian remembers Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who inspired Indians to aspire for self-rule. When we talk about igniting the faith of Gananyayak and becoming a folk hero, we remember Bal Gangadhar Tilak”, he stated.
“When we reflect on the ideals of social progress, the legacy of figures like Sahu Ji Maharaj comes to mind. Peshwa Bajirao, hailing from Maharashtra, exemplified how to realize the vision of a unified nation. Veer Savarkar instilled a sense of pride in India’s struggle for independence, notably recognizing the 1857 revolt as the first war of independence. Additionally, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the principal architect of India’s constitution, is another gift to the nation from Maharashtra, advocating for a single constitution and equality for all throughout the country,” Yogi elaborated.“
Highlighting the condition of India prior to 2014, the Chief Minister said India before 2014 was a nation whose respect in the world was continuously declining. “Borders were not secure and there were incidents of terrorism. Naxalism was spreading rapidly while farmers were committing suicide and the youth were migrating. Neither businessmen nor daughters were safe and an atmosphere of complete distrust prevailed in the country. Constitutional institutions were engulfed in corruption. The people who should have led the country forward were themselves immersed in corruption”, he remarked further.
He further said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the country is witnessing a different India after 2014. The respect of 140 crore Indians in the world has increased. The country’s borders are secure now. No country can dare to invade India’s borders. Terrorism has ended, and Naxalism has been eradicated.
“Nowadays, even if a firecracker ignites within India, Pakistan promptly denies involvement, recognizing that this new India brooks no mischief. This evolving India stands as a source of global pride. Here, we uphold values of respect, security, development, and welfare for the underprivileged, alongside unwavering respect for diverse faiths,” Yogi emphasized.
Referring to the exploits of Congress, CM Yogi said that when the country faced the crisis of COVID-19, or any disaster struck the nation, Rahul Gandhi was the first to run away from the country.. When there was any crisis within the country, like earthquakes or floods, they (opposition) would run away to Italy. He said that if they go outside India, they criticize India, and if they come to India, they try to make India like their family’s inheritance.
CM Yogi further criticized the manifesto of Congress and I.N.D.I alliance. He said that Congress has stated in their manifesto that if they come to power, they will give freedom to minorities to eat and drink as per their interest. “I want to ask, what kind of preference is there for the Muslim community that is different from Hindus?”
He said the Hindu community cannot accept cow slaughter. Congress wants to openly permit cow slaughter in the country. Will the public accept it? He mentioned that if our vote goes to those who encourage cow slaughter and promote beef consumption, then there can’t be a bigger sin than this. He mentioned Sam Pitroda’s statement, where he said that they will impose inheritance tax, meaning Congress will impose tax on our inheritance. This should not be accepted at all. On this occasion, BJP Maharashtra President Chandrashekhar, Maharashtra Government Minister and Shiv Sena deputy leader Gulabrao Patil, NDA candidate
