Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Meets Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a Courtesy Visit
New Delhi : Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, after assuming the responsibilities of his new role, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his official residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, along with his family. During this visit, his son, Member of Parliament Dr. Shrikant Shinde, and daughter-in-law Vrushali Shinde were present. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde presented the Prime Minister with a traditional Paithani shawl and a bouquet.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mr. Shinde said, “This was a courtesy visit. Additionally, during the meeting, discussions were held with Mr. Modi regarding Maharashtra’s contribution to the journey of a developed India. The Prime Minister also assured full cooperation from the central government for Maharashtra’s development.”
During his trip, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda at their official residences in New Delhi. On this occasion, Mr. Shinde presented a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a traditional shawl to Union Home Minister Shah. Similarly, he gifted a statue of Lord Shri Ram and a traditional shawl to Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda.
