Call for Applications for Contractual Appointment as Additional Assistant Superintendent in Mumbai

Mumbai : Applications are invited for the post of Additional Assistant Superintendent on a contractual basis at the Girls’ Military Hostel, Kalina, Santacruz East, Mumbai. Interested candidates must submit their applications by January 15, 2025, as per the press release issued by District Sainik Welfare Officer Pran. Pr. Jadhav.

Eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must be a war widow, widow, or wife of a deceased soldier in service, or the wife of an ex-serviceman or serving soldier (preference will be given to war widows and widows).
• Minimum education qualification: 10th pass.
• Candidates with MSCIT certification and typing skills will be given preference.
• Age limit: Below 45 years.
• Monthly remuneration: ₹24,477.

The application must include attested copies of relevant documents such as certificates proving the applicant’s status as a war widow, widow, or spouse of an ex-serviceman/serving soldier, along with educational qualifications. The press release also states that the authorities reserve the right to make changes to the selection process if necessary.
