Meeting of the Urban Development Department to Review the Implementation of MoUs under the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit.
Jaipur : Principal Secretary of the Urban Development and Housing Department, Shri Vaibhav Galriya, conducted a detailed review of the tasks related to the MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Investment Summit through a video conference at the Secretariat on Thursday.
He emphasized that all authorities and trusts should coordinate with the district collectors of their respective districts to establish contact with investors and ensure time-bound implementation of matters such as land identification and allotment. The progress of the budget announcements was also reviewed during the meeting. Shri Galriya instructed that the budget announcements related to the department be completed within the stipulated time frame.
He discussed issues hindering progress with the officials and provided appropriate directions. He also reviewed responses to assembly questions, pending “Lights” cases, cases on the Sampark Portal, registrations on the Karmayogi Portal, and the status of vacant plots and the land bank.
Shri Galriya appreciated the reduction in the number of pending judicial cases in the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and directed that the pending cases in other districts also be resolved promptly. He discussed contempt and compliance-related cases with the district authorities and issued instructions for their quick resolution.
The Principal Secretary also gathered detailed information about the registration and training status on the department’s Karmayogi Portal. He emphasized that 100% registration and training should be completed for all officers and employees posted in the offices.
While reviewing vacant plots and the land bank, he instructed that saleable land be listed and ensured that no encroachment takes place on lands owned by authorities and trusts. He stressed the need for continuous monitoring of these lands and immediate action to identify and remove encroachments.
The meeting was attended by JDA Commissioner Smt. Anandi, Deputy Secretary-II Shri Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Deputy Secretary-III Shri Rakesh Kumar, Rajasthan Housing Board Secretary Dr. Anil Paliwal, Chief Engineer of UDH Shri Ashok Choudhary, and other departmental officials. Officials from district development authorities and trusts also participated in the meeting via video conference.
