Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma to Review Investment MoUs

Meeting on Monday to Discuss Implementation of MoUs Worth Over ₹1,000 Crores

Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will conduct a review meeting on Monday, January 6, to ensure the timely and effective implementation of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, focusing on projects worth over ₹1,000 crores.

During the meeting, Mr. Sharma will hold discussions with departmental officials regarding the execution of 124 MoUs across sectors such as agriculture, education, information technology, industry and commerce, medical and health, mining, tourism, and urban development and housing.

It is noteworthy that during the summit held from December 9 to 11 last year, MoUs amounting to more than ₹35 lakh crores were signed. Following this, the Chief Minister initiated a three-tier review mechanism to ensure the timely and effective execution of these agreements. This meeting is part of that initiative, being conducted at the Chief Minister’s level to evaluate the progress.

Major Reforms to Make the State Investment-Friendly:

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government has implemented significant changes to align Rajasthan’s business and trade environment with investor expectations. New industrial areas have been established, and land parcels in these areas have been allocated for industrial use. Additionally, to boost investments, the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme-2024 and nine other new policies have been introduced.

The progress report on the implementation of the investment MoUs signed during the Rising Rajasthan Summit will be presented to the public in December 2025.
