Integrated Final Electoral Roll Published for Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll, 2025
- The integrated final electoral roll of the Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll, 2025, with 01.01.2025 as the qualifying date, has been published today (06.01.2025).
- The Special Summary Revision began with the draft publication on 29.10.2024. Claims and objections were accepted between 29.10.2024 and 28.11.2024.
- During this period:
- Applications for inclusion: 14,02,132 received; 13,80,163 admitted (Male: 6,18,383; Female: 7,61,483; Third Gender: 297).
- Applications for deletion: 5,16,940 received; 4,97,800 deletions made due to shifting (3,72,872), deaths (1,09,131), and duplicate entries (15,797).
- Corrections: Entries for 2,15,244 electors corrected (Male: 1,13,399; Female: 1,01,750; Third Gender: 95).
- As per the final roll, the total electorate in Tamil Nadu is 6,36,12,950:
- Male: 3,11,74,027
- Female: 3,24,29,803
- Third Gender: 9,120
- The Assembly Constituencies with the highest and lowest electorates are as follows:

- Continuous Updation:
Eligible individuals who turned 18 by 01.01.2025 but do not find their names in the roll can apply:- By visiting the office of the Electoral Registration Officer and submitting Form 6.
- Online at www.voters.eci.gov.in.
- Through the “Voter Helpline App” available on the Google Play Store.
- Forms and claims received during the Special Summary Revision and Continuous Updation will be processed quarterly under the latter phase.
- As per the Election Commission of India, Electoral Registration Officers will supply two hard copies of the Electoral Roll to recognized political parties. Soft copies (without photographs) are available for ₹100 per Assembly Constituency.
