Minister Smt. Rajwade will participate in the Chintan Shivir organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in Udaipur
Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwada will be attending the Chintan Shivir in Udaipur city of Rajasthan from 10th to 12th January. She will freely interact with the representatives of States and Union Territories during the camp. This three-day event organized by the Ministry of Women and Child Development will bring together key stakeholders including dignitaries and senior officials of the Central Government and State Governments on one platform. Through the camp, various issues related to the challenges faced by women and children in the overall development and welfare across the country will be discussed and every possible solution will be found to overcome these challenges.
Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Annapurna Devi will be attending and inaugurating the programme. On this occasion, Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur will share the latest information on the schemes currently being run. Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Diya Kumari and Ministers of Women and Child Development Departments of States and Union Territories will also be present.
The event will feature several key sessions focusing on key initiatives of the Ministry including Mission Vatsalya, Mission Shakti and Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0. These sessions aim to address critical issues and pave the way forward for strengthening women’s welfare and child development in India.
The event will feature best practice presentations from various States and Union Territories. These presentations will focus on successful implementations aimed at addressing problems faced by women and children, as well as how to scale up in districts to better deliver services to beneficiaries.
The camp will facilitate open discussions with representatives from States/UTs, providing a platform to address challenges, share ideas and engage in collaborative problem-solving, Strengthening Anganwadi Centres to develop them as hubs of nutrition, education, health and awareness and services, Mission Vatsalya Accelerating child welfare through improved childcare institutions, foster care, adoption and aftercare, Mission Shakti Addressing issues such as women safety, child marriage and use of technology to empower women, especially through the She-Box portal.
Ministry of Women and Child Development and Government of Rajasthan are hosting this important event. This collaborative effort will pave the way for impactful policy decisions and effective implementation of welfare programmes.
