Jharkhand group waves tricolour and chants patriotic slogans at Sangam
Mahakumbh Nagar : The Prayagraj Sangam turned into the epicentre of social and national unity on the occasion of Makar Sankranti festival with crowds of devotees, accompanying the Akharas, chanting patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” and pilgrims carrying the tricolor.
Among them, Manoj Kumar Srivastava from Jharkhand stood out as he led his group of 55 devotees toward the Sangam, proudly holding the national flag and chanting patriotic slogans. The group’s enthusiasm and spirit were palpable, embodying this grand festival’s cultural and national pride.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoj said, “The Mahakumbh is a symbol of India’s rich social and cultural heritage.” He emphasized his commitment to spreading the message of national unity by carrying the tricolor and raising patriotic slogans.
Manoj and his group also praised the exemplary cleanliness and well-organized arrangements at the Mahakumbh Mela, expressing their gratitude to the government for the facilities provided for pilgrims.
The collective spirit of devotion and patriotism added a profound dimension to the sacred occasion.
