In this ‘Mahabharata,’ PM Modi assumes the role of ‘Krishna’ against ‘Duryodhana’ and ‘Dushasan’: CM Yogi
Lok Sabha 24 : Jalaun – Training guns on the leaders of Congress and Samajwadi Party, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath drew a parallel between the current election and the Mahabharata on Wednesday. He portrayed Prime Minister Modi as ‘Krishna,’ guiding the Bharatiya Janata Party against opponents reminiscent of ‘Duryodhanas’ and ‘Dushasans.’
Yogi Adityanath was addressing a huge public meeting in Orai of Jalaun Lok Sabha constituency in support of Union Minister and joint candidate of BJP, Apna Dal, Rashtriya Lok Dal, Nishad Party, Sohail Dev Rajbhar Party, Bhanu Prasad Verma.
Reflecting on a statement by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Yogi Adityanath remarked, “He mentioned two polarizations in the elections. I want to clarify to Kharge ji that this election is not about polarization; it’s about Rambhakts and Ramdrohis.”
He continued, “On one side, stand all those who betray Lord Ram, those who have targeted Ram devotees with gunfire, and those who praise Pakistan while betraying the nation. Against these ‘Duryodhanas’ and ‘Dushasans’ of this Mahabharata, today Prime Minister Modi has assumed the role of Krishna, guiding the Bharatiya Janata Party.”
CM Yogi emphasized that throughout history, those opposing Lord Ram have faced defeat and downfall. He stated, “They only care about their own families. They are unconcerned about caste, state, country, faith, the poor, farmers, women, or daughters. Their only concern is their family. In contrast, for Modi ji, India’s 140 crore people are his family.”
During his speech, CM Yogi highlighted the significance of Jalaun district, renowned for its hand made paper of Kalpi and peas of Jalaun, both gaining global recognition through the One District One Product initiative.
He remarked, “Jalaun serves as the gateway to Bundelkhand. What was its condition a decade ago? SP, BSP, and Congress had surrendered Bundelkhand to the mafia, depleting its resources and pushing the region towards chaos. Development was hindered, leading to youth migration, farmer suicides, and insecurity of daughters and businessmen.”
He further underscored, “In just ten years, our Bundelkhand Expressway has been connected with four-lane connectivity. The impact of the Har Ghar Jal scheme is evident on the ground. When the cannons from the Défense Corridor echo on our borders, it sends shivers down the spines of Pakistanis.”
“Today, our artisans receive global recognition for their craftsmanship. Plans are underway to establish industrial cities in Bundelkhand. Now, the youth of Bundelkhand will no longer need to seek opportunities elsewhere; instead, the world will come knocking for jobs. The transformation unfolding in Bundelkhand is attributed to the leadership of Modi”, he continued.
In a scathing attack on the opposition parties, the CM remarked that during the Congress and Samajwadi Party regimes, terrorist blasts and attacks on Ram devotees were commonplace. He contrasted this with the transformation witnessed under Modi’s leadership.
“Today, under Modi’s governance, even if a firecracker goes off, Pakistan hastens to clarify that it’s not their doing. They understand that failing to clarify may prompt India’s brave soldiers to take decisive retaliatory action,” Yogi asserted.
Yogi emphasized further, stating, “When certain Congress leaders issue warnings regarding Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities, I ask, is our atom bomb meant to be kept in a fridge. Our arsenal far surpasses that of Pakistan.”
He pointed out the stark contrast in conditions between India and Pakistan, noting that India provides free ration to 80 crore impoverished citizens, while there’s a struggle for basic necessities like wheat in Pakistan. “Instead of singing praises of Pakistan and burdening India, why not go to Pakistan? Why tarnish India’s image by seeking assistance?” he questioned.
Highlighting the tangible changes, he noted the construction of highways, improved railway connectivity, and the establishment of a defence corridor. The weapons manufactured in Bundelkhand contribute significantly to India’s security, serving as an impregnable fortress. Today, the Bundelkhand Expressway stands as a symbol of the region’s development, with every product from Bundelkhand gaining recognition.
The Chief Minister highlighted that today, 80 crore people in the country receive free ration, contrasting this with the situation in Pakistan, where even a kilo of flour sparks fights despite its smaller population compared to Uttar Pradesh. “Those who sing paeans to Pakistan should go there and beg with a bowl.”
He remarked that while Congress was leading the world into turmoil, Modi ji has bestowed a contented life upon this generation. He remarked: “Not only in this life but also in the afterlife, we will proudly inform our ancestors that the aspiration they held, for our revered Ramlala to be enshrined in Ayodhya— for which countless Hindus sacrificed their lives—has been realized.”
On this occasion, BJP District President Urmija Dixit, MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan, MLA Gauri Shankar Verma, Moolchandra Niranjan, Jawahar Singh Rajput, District Panchayat President Ghanshyam Anuragi, District Panchayat President Chitrakoot Ashok Jatav, District Panchayat President Pawan Gautam, former MLA Chhote Singh Chauhan, Narendra Singh Jadaun, Lok Sabha in-charge Madan Pandey, Convener Shyam Singh Sisodia, RLD President Manoj Budhauliya, District President Dhruv Gupta, Anil Niranjan, Sohail Dev, Rajbhar Party President Kaluram Prajapati, Lok Sabha Cluster in-charge Santvilas Shivhare were present.
