“Under the leadership of CM Yogi, the law and order in UP has become very strong” – Rajnath Singh.

Lok Sabha 24 : Lucknow – Defence Minister and Lok Sabha candidate Rajnath Singh highlighted a significant statement from a member of Pakistan’s Parliament praising India’s trajectory towards global superpower status, contrasting it with Pakistan’s negative perception of India. Singh attributed this positive outlook to PM Narendra Modi’s leadership, affirming member’s acceptance of India’s developmental strides.

However, Singh mentioned that some political parties support Pakistan for their personal interests and foster misunderstandings through falsehoods.

The Defence Minister was addressing a public meeting in Lucknow on Thursday. During this, he said, “Bharatiya Janata Party never does politics of lies. We focus on meaningful politics for the people’s benefit. We do politics not to form the government but to build the country.”

Lauding the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he said that development of any state cannot be done without strengthening the law and order system. Under CM Yogi’s, the law and order system of UP has become very strong, resulting in rapid progress of the state.

Singh further mentioned that Pakistan, which is in ruins, is begging in front of the world to save itself. Slogans are being raised there in support of India, he stated. Attacking the opposition, he said that some are supporting Pakistan for their own political gains. “According to the world’s renowned political analysts, the NDA is going to lead the country with more than 400 seats, but these people (opposition) are not ready to accept it. They are not ready to understand the trust and enthusiasm of the people for the Bharatiya Janata Party.”

Taking a dig at the Congress, the Defence Minister said they only do politics of lies. Democracy was strangled by Indira Gandhi by imposing emergency in 1975. She made changes to the Constitution 132 times. Whereas PM Modi has not made a single change to the Constitution in his ten-year tenure.

“They have a backlog of issues, so they are talking nonsense. Earlier, no one used to take India seriously, but today the whole world’s attention is on India. Today, the big scholars of the world say that by the year 2027, India will be in the top three economies in the world. Today, the national presidents of all countries say that if any country belongs to the 21st century, it is India,” Singh added.

Singh praised CM Yogi, giving him full credit for the development of the state. He said that CM has strengthened the law and order in the state and made Uttar Pradesh an excellent state. The problem of traffic jams has been reduced significantly with the flyover of Lalkuan and Haiderganj in Lucknow. Approval has been given for 13 more flyovers to make the capital traffic-free.

“The construction of the 104-kilometer ring road Kisan Path consisting of eight lanes has been completed. Today, Lucknow Airport has become a world-class airport. Along with this, the Triveni Nagar railway station will also be a world-class railway station. There has also been considerable development at Alamnagar railway station,” Singh added.

He further mentioned that the strong law and order in the state is a landmark. Today, it is being discussed not only in various states of the country but also in foreign countries. Earlier, SP and BSP in the state only talked about development, but today development is visible. Earlier, Congress used to buy weapons for the army from abroad, but today we are making them ourselves. Besides, we are also exporting to other countries.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak, Legislative Council member Mukesh Sharma and Mayor Sushma Kharkwal etc. were present.
