Donald Trump Attends Church Service with Family Before Inauguration

President-elect Donald Trump attended a church service at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Washington, DC, with his family. Known as the “Church of the Presidents,” St. John’s has been a historic site since 1815.

The inauguration ceremony took place at the US Capitol Rotunda, where Vice President-elect JD Vance was sworn in first, followed by Trump as the 47th President of the United States. Trump delivered his inaugural address, outlining his vision for the country.

Following the swearing-in, Trump participated in a signing ceremony in the President’s Room, continuing a tradition initiated by President Ronald Reagan in 1981. During this ceremony, he signed nominations and other official documents.

The day’s events included a formal luncheon, a review of the troops, and an inaugural parade on Capitol Hill. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump also attended a signing ceremony at the White House before delivering remarks at the Convention Centre.

The inauguration festivities concluded with celebratory balls, including the Liberty Ball, the Commander-in-Chief Ball, and the United Station Ball. Trump and Melania ended the evening with the traditional first dance before returning to the White House.
