Govt. Hnahthial College Launches “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” Campaign with Film Screening

Hnahthial: On Wednesday, at Govt. Hnahthial College, Sub-Divisional Officer Pu R. Vanlalruata inaugurated the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan” (NMBA) campaign, which includes the screening of a film to raise awareness among students.

The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, is a mass awareness campaign aimed at combating substance abuse. It was officially launched on Independence Day, marking its fifth year.

As part of this campaign, schools, universities, and colleges across India will host awareness programs. The Hnahthial DC office organized the event in this region.

This year, the NMBA theme is “Viksit Bharat ka Mantra, Bharat ho Nashe se Swatantra,” focusing on a developed India free from addiction.
