Media Center in Prayagraj Unveils Uttar Pradesh’s First Double-Decker Bus Restaurant

Special Fasting Meals Also Available

On Monday, Uttar Pradesh’s first double-decker bus restaurant was inaugurated at the Media Center in Prayagraj’s Kumbh City. Named “Pumpkin,” this unique restaurant showcases glimpses of the upcoming Maha Kumbh 2025. The lower deck of the bus serves as the kitchen, while the upper deck houses the dining area, accommodating 25 guests at a time. Visitors can enjoy pure vegetarian and sattvic meals in this distinctive setting.

Founder of the double-decker bus food court, Manveer Godara, shared that the Pumpkin brand is being launched from the Kumbh Mela and will soon expand to other religious sites like Varanasi, Mathura, and Ayodhya. The menu has been designed to suit the budget of common devotees, and special fasting meals will be available on auspicious occasions.

The food court, established in the Media Center, offers discounted meals for media personnel. Additionally, LED screens inside and outside the bus will showcase films related to the Kumbh, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.
