Republic Day 2025 Celebrations to Be Held in Champhai

Champhai : India’s 76th Republic Day, commemorating the adoption of the nation’s constitution, will be celebrated tomorrow with grandeur and patriotism at Chhangphut Field, Champhai. Deputy Commissioner Pu VL Remliana will preside as the Chief Guest of the event.

The day’s program will commence at 6:00 AM with the hoisting of the national flag at government offices and private residences. At 8:00 AM, the Chief Guest will arrive at Chhangphut Field to witness the ceremonial parade. Parade contingents will salute the national flag in unison, showcasing their discipline and dedication. Following the flag salute, the Republic Day Parade will proceed, during which the Chief Guest will inspect the contingents and take the salute.

The event will continue with an address by the Deputy Commissioner, who will deliver the Republic Day speech. The celebrations will conclude with the distribution of various awards and honors to deserving individuals and organizations.

The festivities at Chhangphut Field will be broadcast live on CCN and LCN television networks and streamed online through their YouTube channels.

For this year’s Republic Day celebrations, the Parade will include 18 contingents: 5 unarmed groups, 1 armed contingent, 12 school groups, and a Band Party. Residents are warmly invited to participate and enjoy the grand event.
