CM Vishnu Deo Sai Pays Tribute to Makhanlal Chaturvedi on His Death Anniversary

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to renowned poet and writer Padma Bhushan Makhanlal Chaturvedi on his death anniversary on January 30. Remembering his literary contributions, CM Sai stated that Makhanlal Chaturvedi’s powerful writings instilled a deep sense of patriotism among the people and inspired them to actively participate in the freedom struggle.

His works beautifully reflect a blend of love for nature, sacrifice, dedication, and nationalism. During the freedom movement, he composed the famous poem “Pushp Ki Abhilasha” while imprisoned in Bilaspur Central Jail, which remains a celebrated piece of literature. CM Sai emphasized that Makhanlal Chaturvedi’s literary and national contributions will always be remembered as invaluable treasures.
