Two Teachers Suspended, Two Issued Notices for Poor Education Quality
Raipur : Education Secretary Shri Pardeshi conducted an inspection of schools in Gariaband district today to assess the state of teaching and learning. During his visit to Government Pre-Secondary Schools in Baruka and Malgaon, he expressed serious displeasure over the decline in learning levels among 8th-grade students and their poor subject comprehension.
Holding the school heads accountable, he ordered the immediate suspension of Principal Lalit Kumar Sahu (Baruka) and Cluster Coordinator Bhupendra Singh Thakur (Malgaon). Acting on his directive, Divisional Joint Director Shri Rakesh Kumar Pandey issued suspension orders with immediate effect.
During his inspection at Government Pre-Secondary School, Baruka, Shri Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi tested students’ knowledge by asking simple questions. He found that their academic proficiency was extremely weak. He also questioned teachers Mrs. Deepa Sahu and Mrs. Kavita Sahu regarding their teaching methods.
Unsatisfied with their academic performance, and observing poor cleanliness and mismanagement in the school, the Education Secretary expressed his displeasure. Following his instructions, the Education Officer issued show-cause notices to both teachers, demanding an explanation for the shortcomings.
