Partnership Signed for Organizing Aizawl International Half Marathon 2025

Aizawl – A partnership agreement for organizing the Aizawl International Half Marathon 2025 was signed between the Sports & Youth Services Department and Innovations India Pvt. Ltd. The signing ceremony, held at the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services, MINECO Aizawl, was attended by Sports Minister Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar and senior officials of the department.

The agreement was signed by Pu Lalramsanga Sailo, Secretary, Sports & Youth Services, on behalf of the department, and Captain Rahul Bali representing Innovations India Pvt. Ltd.

Speaking at the event, the Sports Minister outlined key preparatory steps for the Half Marathon, including route identification, expected participation, sponsorships, and technical collaboration with the Athletics Federation of India for planning and official recognition of the event. He also emphasized that the marathon would promote health, sports, and fitness while establishing Mizoram as a prominent destination on India’s marathon map.

Following the signing, a press meet was held where representatives from Innovations India Pvt. Ltd. and the Mizoram Athletics Association addressed queries related to the upcoming event.
