Chief Minister Inaugurates Federation Enclave Sample Flat And Community Centre

Federation Enclave Sample Flat and Community Centre, constructed under the initiative of the Federation of Mizoram Government Employees & Workers (FMGE&W), was inaugurated by Pu Lalduhoma.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister stated, “I believe that the Federation Enclave will contribute to the transformation of our state’s landscape. I am deeply grateful for this initiative. Developing Aizawl further and creating new urban spaces has been a challenging task. However, with the efforts of FMGE&W and Blue Mountain Co., we aim to establish high-quality housing complexes that will provide affordable homes to residents and developers alike. This project will significantly change the face of Aizawl, and I fully support its successful completion.”

Pu Hmingchungnunga, Chairman of the Mizoram Government Employees Housing Society, expressed his gratitude to all attendees, while Er. R. Lalrammawia, President of FMGE&W, also shared his thoughts. It was highlighted that government employees in Mizoram have often faced difficulties in securing housing due to frequent transfers and postings. To address this issue, this project has been designed to provide affordable homes through loans. The land for the project has been allotted by the government. The construction is expected to be completed by 2027, and bookings will open from today. Initially, the flats will be allocated to government employees for a year, after which they will be made available to the general public.

The Federation Enclave is a collaborative project between FMGE&W and the Mizoram Government Employees Housing Society, in partnership with Blue Mountain Engineering & Services Limited. The housing complex, which will accommodate approximately 350 families and 2,000 residents, has been under planning for the past ten years.

Today’s inauguration marked the opening of the Community Centre building within the complex, where a Sample Flat has been showcased. The Chief Minister toured the sample flat and announced that a mass booking window will be opened for interested buyers.

The approximate pricing for the flats is as follows:

• 2BHK – ₹47 lakh
• 3BHK – ₹60 lakh
• 4BHK – ₹77 lakh
