Regulation of trains for developmental work over Sealdah Division

Vide a Press Release: 2025/02/77, Railways has brought it to the notice of its commuters that,

for the commissioning of Hot Stand by Dual Visual Display Unit Electronic Interlocking system at Krishnanagar City along the Ranaghat – Lalgola section over Sealdah Division,

Pre-Non Interlocking work on and from 00.00 hours of 22.02.2025 (Saturday) to 27.02.2025 (Thursday) and

Non Interlocking work on and from 10.00 hours of 28.02.2025 (Friday) to 00.00 hours of 03.03.2025 (Monday) has been planned at Krishnanagar City. Consequently, following arrangements in train running have been made as under:

Cancellation of trains: during Non-Interlocking period from 28.02.2025 to 02.03.2025:

Ranaghat – Krishnanagar City: UP: 31721, 31723, 31725

Down: 31722, 31726.

RE-SCHEDULING OF TRAINS:

• 53172 Down Lalgola – Sealdah Passenger (JCO 21.02.2025 to 24.02.2025 and 27.02.2025 to 01.03.2025) will be rescheduled for 60 minutes i.e., will leave from Lalgola at 23.15 hours instead of 22.15 hours.

• 53172 Down Lalgola – Sealdah Passenger (JCO 26.02.2025) will be rescheduled for 120 minutes i.e., will leave from Lalgola at 00.15 hours of 27.02.2025 instead of 22.15 hours of 26.02.2025 and will be controlled enroute up to Dhubulia.

• 53181 Up Sealdah – Lalgola Passenger (JCO 27.02.2025) will be rescheduled for 90 minutes i.e., will leave from Sealdah at 01.00 hours of 28.02.2025 instead of 23.30 hours of 27.02.2025 and will be controlled enroute up to Badkulla.

• 53181 Up Sealdah – Lalgola Passenger (JCO 28.02.2025) will be rescheduled for 180 minutes i.e., will leave from Sealdah at 02.30 hours of 01.03.2025 instead of 23.30 hours of 28.02.2025.

Short termination and short origination of trains: during Non-Interlocking period from 28.02.2025 to 02.03.2025):

• 31816 Down Krishnanagar City-Sealdah Local will be short originated from Ranaghat.

• 53092/53091 Azim Ganj – Krishnanagar City – Azim Ganj Passenger will be short terminated at short originated from Dhubulia instead of Krishnanagar City.
