Regulation of trains due to developmental works in Adra Division:

In view of developmental works in Adra Division, the following trains will be regulated as under:

Cancellation of Trains:

• 68090 / 68089 Adra – Midnapore – Adra MEMU will remain cancelled on 24.02.2025, 28.02.2025 & 02.03.2025.

• 68045 / 68046 Adra – Asansol – Adra MEMU will remain cancelled from 24.02.2025 to 02.03.2025.

• 63594 / 63593 Asansol – Purulia – Asansol MEMU on 24.02.2025, 28.02.2025, 01.03.2025 & 02.03.2025.

• 18019 / 18020 Jhargram – Dhanbad – Jhargram Express will remain cancelled on 24.02.2025 & 27.02.2025.

• 13504 / 13503 Hatia – Barddhaman – Hatia MEMU Express will remain cancelled on 24.02.2025, 27.02.2025 & 01.03.2025.

Diversion of Train:

• 18601 Tatanagar – Hatia Express, Journey commencing on 26.02.2025 & 28.02.2025 will run on diverted route via Chandil – Gunda Bihar – Muri.

Short-termination/Short origination of Trains:

• 68056 / 68060 Tatanagar – Asansol – Barabhum MEMU, Journey commencing on 24.02.2025, 28.02.2025 & 01.03.2025 will be short-terminated at & short originated from Adra.

• 63594 / 63593 Asansol – Purulia – Asansol MEMU, Journey commencing on 25.02.2025 will be short- terminated at & short originated from Adra.

1. Special Bulletin – Loco trouble between Soro and Markona Stations in Kharagpur Division:

22861 New Jalpaiguri-Chennai Central Express was detained between Soro and Markona of Kharagpur Division due to Loco trouble from 14.45 hours today on 22.02.2025. There was no derailment and no injury of passengers. The Loco (engine) of the train was hit by an object lying on the track and could not move any further. An alternative loco was arranged and the train departed at 18.23 hours. All necessary safety measures were taken by Railways and thorough checking of the Loco was done before the departure of the train.

As a result of the incident, the following trains were regulated:

• 12245 Howrah – SMVT Bengaluru Express was detained between Soro – Markona.

• 68051 Baleshwar – Bhadrak MEMU was detained at Soro.

• 18045 Shalimar – Hyderabad East Coast Express was detained at Baleshwar.

• 20889 Howrah – Tirupati Express was detained at Rupsa.
