Inauguration of the Renovated P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy Complex.

Mumbai : The renovated P. L. Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy Complex, under the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, is set to be inaugurated on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6 PM. The inaugural ceremony will take place at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will preside over the event and formally inaugurate the complex. The ceremony will also be attended by Deputy Chief Minister & Guardian Minister of Mumbai City, Eknath Shinde; Deputy Chief Minister & Finance Minister, Ajit Pawar; Minister for Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Mangalprabhat Lodha; Minister of Cultural Affairs, Adv. Ashish Shelar; Minister of Public Works, Shivendrasinh Bhosale; Member of Parliament, Anil Desai; and MLA Mahesh Sawant.

To mark the occasion, a special cultural program has been organized, featuring performances by Sanjay Mone, Pushkar Shrotri, Subhash Nakashe, Nandesh Umap, Rohan Patil, and other renowned artists.
