Padma Bhushan awarded to veteran musician Pyarelal Sharma.
Mumbai: Veteran musician Pyarelal Ram Prasad Sharma was honored today by conferring the Padma Bhushan Award on behalf of the President through the State Government. State Chief Secretary Dr. Nitin Karir and Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Royal Etiquette Officer Manisha Patankar-Mhaiskar Mr. The award was presented to Sharma at his residence in Bandra West. At the same time, they were felicitated by giving shawl, shrifal, and honor paper.
Collector of Mumbai Suburb Rajendra Kshirsagar, Deputy Secretary of Royal Etiquette Department Dilip Deshpande, Pyarelal Sharma’s wife Sunila and family members were present on this occasion. Pyarelal Sharma thanked the central government and the state government on this occasion.
This year’s Padma award ceremony took place on 9 May 2024 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. In this ceremony Mr. As Sharma could not attend, the Chief Secretary of the State and Chief Royal Etiquette Officer Shri. The award was presented today at Sharma’s residence.
