Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed grief over the untimely death of eight devotees in a road accident late night near Upni village in Sidhi district. CM Dr. Yadav has given instructions to approve an amount of Rs 2 lakh each from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund to the families of the deceased, Rs 1 lakh each to the seriously injured and Rs 50,000 each to the general injured. CM Dr. Yadav has said that late night, senior officials of the police administration reached the spot and arranged for the treatment of the injured with the help of local citizens and the seriously injured passengers have been referred to Rewa.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed condolences to the affected family and prayed to Lord Mahakal to give place to the departed souls in his lotus feet and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense sorrow. CM Dr. Yadav also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. It is noteworthy that eight passengers died in a terrible collision between a passenger vehicle going to visit Maihar Mata and a truck late on Sunday night.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, through a message released in the media, has appealed to the drivers to drive vehicles carefully, take necessary precautions and stay alert on the roads and drive vehicles while taking care of their rest and sleep. He said that many families have to suffer irreparable loss due to such accidents. CM Dr. Yadav has given instructions to take every possible measure to avoid vehicle accidents.
