Chief Minister’s Visit to Deeg: Celebrates Holi with Devotees
Deeg – On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma visited Poonchhri Ka Lotha Dham in Deeg on Thursday and offered prayers at the Shreenath Ji Temple. He performed rituals and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.

During his visit, the Chief Minister also performed the milk consecration (Dugdh Abhishek) of Shri Giriraj Ji at Mukut Mukharbind. He showered flowers on the devotees and played Phoolon Ki Holi (Holi with flowers), filling the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm. The beats of Chang (a traditional instrument) added to the festive spirit, as devotees celebrated with great fervor.

On this occasion, saints and sages welcomed Shri Sharma by adorning him with a traditional safa (turban). The Holi Mahotsav at Shreenath Ji Temple featured mesmerizing performances by local artists, including the Mayur (Peacock) Dance, leaving everyone immersed in devotion to Lord Krishna.
The event was attended by Minister of State for Home Affairs Jawahar Singh Bedham, Deeg-Kumher MLA Dr. Shailesh Singh, Weir MLA Bahadur Singh Koli, Divisional Commissioner of Bharatpur Dr. Amit Yadav, Bharatpur Range IG Rahul Prakash, Deeg District Collector Utsav Kaushal, Deeg Superintendent of Police Rajesh Meena, along with other officials and public representatives.
