Deputy CM Diya Kumari Inaugurates Eco-Friendly Club House at Hingonia Gaushala
Jaipur – Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari visited the Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Center in Bassi’s Hingonia village on Thursday. She planted saplings and inaugurated an eco-friendly club house built using bamboo and cow dung. Impressed by the natural club house, she remarked that such eco-friendly structures could become a key part of tourism development.

During her visit, Diya Kumari offered prayers to the cows, fed them fresh fodder, and inspected the facilities at the Shri Krishna Balaram Seva Trust and H.G. Foundation-supported Gaushala. She also visited the temple and performed milk consecration (Dugdh Abhishek) for Lord Shiva.
She flagged off a fodder mixing machine with a 4-ton capacity and explored natural bamboo-based accommodations, emphasizing their role in promoting eco-tourism. She stated that such initiatives would not only protect the environment but also offer tourists an authentic natural living experience, helping them understand sustainable development and eco-friendly lifestyles. She called it a positive step toward environmental sustainability, benefiting both cow conservation and ecological balance.
Diya Kumari reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to cow protection and welfare, highlighting key provisions in the recent state budget for cow shelters and livestock farmers. She emphasized that timely financial aid is being provided to gaushalas across Rajasthan and urged public participation in these socially significant efforts.
She also lauded the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign, recognizing its impact on environmental conservation.
Expressing her vision for rural and agro-tourism, she stated that eco-friendly club houses like the one at Hingonia Gaushala could become a major attraction, and the tourism department would make every effort to promote them.
