“CM Yogi Visits Mother in Rishikesh, Assures Care for Accident Victims”

Rishikesh/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand on Sunday to visit his mother, who is admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh. He met with the AIIMS director to inquire about the health of his mother, Savitri Devi, in detail. Afterward, CM Yogi also visited victims of the Rudraprayag accident, checking on their condition and instructing doctors on their treatment. State Health Minister Dhan Singh Rawat and former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and MP from Haridwar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, were also present alongside CM Yogi.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath traveled directly to Rishikesh after participating in various programs in Gorakhpur on Sunday, meeting his mother after a two-year gap. After greeting his mother, CM Yogi had an extensive discussion with the AIIMS director about her health. Savitri Devi appeared visibly content upon seeing CM Yogi, who spent approximately 20 minutes with her. She has been admitted to the geriatric ward due to age-related issues and was previously hospitalized here for an eye infection. On Saturday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also visited to inquire about her condition. CM Yogi hails from Uttarakhand, with his family residing in Pachur village of Pauri Garhwal. He had previously visited his native village in 2022, seeking his mother’s blessings.

“CM Yogi Meets and Consoles Victims of Rudraprayag Accident”

Following his visit with his mother, CM Yogi instructed doctors to ensure the proper care of Uttar Pradesh residents injured in a recent road accident in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. He personally assured the injured and medical staff of full cooperation from the state government, emphasizing that they would not be left to suffer. The accident, which occurred on Saturday, claimed the lives of 14 individuals from UP. CM Yogi extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. He promptly dispatched a team of Uttar Pradesh officials to Rudraprayag and instructed the Chief Minister’s office and Resident Commissioner’s office to coordinate with local authorities for immediate treatment and security measures for the injured. Additionally, he monitored updates on the incident closely.
