CM Engages with Rajasthani Entrepreneurs – Calls for Grand Rajasthan Day Celebrations Worldwide
Jaipur – Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has urged non-resident Rajasthanis (NRRs) across India and abroad to celebrate Rajasthan Day with joy and enthusiasm on Chaitra Shukla Pratipada (March 30).
On Tuesday, CM Sharma held a dialogue with Rajasthani entrepreneurs at his residence. He emphasized that from this year onwards, Rajasthan Day will be observed according to the Indian lunar calendar instead of the English calendar, in line with Sanatan cultural traditions.
Special Aarti in Temples Under Devasthan Department
The Chief Minister announced that the state government will organize week-long celebrations (March 25-31), offering various benefits to different sections of society. As part of these festivities, special Aarti ceremonies will be conducted in temples under the Devasthan Department on Rajasthan Day.
He also encouraged entrepreneurs to collaborate with non-resident Rajasthanis and host celebrations across various Indian states and international cities.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs presented suggestions for Rajasthan Day and expressed gratitude to CM Sharma for organizing this historic event on a grand scale.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary (CM Office) Shikhar Agarwal, Principal Secretary (Industries) Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (CM Office) Alok Gupta, Rajasthan Foundation Commissioner Dr. Manisha Arora, along with other senior officials and Rajasthani entrepreneurs.
