“Antyodaya Will Ensure Development for All” – Diya Kumari
Jaipur : As part of the Rajasthan Day Weekly Festival, an Antyodaya Welfare Ceremony was held on Thursday. Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma addressed the state-level program in Bharatpur, which was broadcast live via video conferencing (VC) at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College Auditorium in Ajmer. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari addressed the district-level event, distributing benefits under various government schemes.
India’s Global Recognition and Economic Growth
Deputy CM Diya Kumari highlighted India’s growing global stature, stating, “India is now recognized on the world stage with great respect. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the vision of a developed India is progressing rapidly.” She emphasized that both the central and state governments are working together to achieve this goal, making India the fastest-growing economy in the world.
She further stated that Rajasthan’s state government is fully committed to development, focusing on education, roads, healthcare, and drinking water as priority areas. Significant progress has been made over the past year, with comprehensive expansion of basic amenities. She assured that the double-engine government will continue to drive uninterrupted progress.
Government’s Commitment to Public Welfare
Deputy CM Diya Kumari praised CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership, emphasizing his dedication to youth, farmers, women, and workers. She stated that the government is committed to uplifting the underprivileged and that Antyodaya Welfare Programs are ensuring that benefits reach the last person in society. The double-engine government has accelerated the implementation of public welfare initiatives, bringing positive changes in the lives of the poor.
She encouraged every citizen to take pride in being Rajasthani and actively participate in the state’s development. “With collective efforts, Rajasthan will secure its place among the leading states in the country and emerge as a developed state,” she affirmed. She also highlighted that the state budget has been designed to uplift every individual, ensuring that development reaches the grassroots level.
Distribution of Welfare Benefits in Ajmer
During the event, several beneficiaries received aid:
- 46 visually impaired individuals received smartphones with special assistive software developed by ALIMCO.
- 10 hearing-impaired students were provided hearing aids.
- Five beneficiaries received their next installment under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).
- 14 beneficiaries received property ownership documents under the Swamitva Scheme through the District Council.
- Four individuals benefited from Labour Department schemes and were given symbolic checks.

The event was attended by Shri Omprakash Bhadana, Chairman of the Shri Devnarayan Board, along with MLAs Smt. Anita Bhadel and Shri Virendra Singh Kanawat, District Collector Shri Lok Bandhu, Deputy Mayor Shri Neeraj Jain, former District Chief Shri Pukhraj Pahadia, and other prominent figures.
