“Fadnavis Awards Top Schools in ‘Chief Minister My School, Beautiful School’ Campaign”

Nagpur: Today, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis distributed prizes to the first, second, and third-ranked schools in the district under the ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Sala, Sunder Sala’ campaign at his official residence in Devagiri.

The campaign, launched under the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Adarsh School Yojana, aims to instill a sense of responsibility towards schools among teachers, parents, students, and alumni across all managements and mediums in the state. The objective is to create a pleasant and inspiring environment for students to learn in a competitive setting.

The competition was organized for both government and private management groups, with awards of INR 11 lakhs for first place, INR 5 lakhs for second place, and INR 3 lakhs for third place. In the government group, prizes were awarded to Zilla Parishad Primary School Bhilewada in Ramtek taluka, Zilla Parishad Higher Primary School Bharkas in Hingana taluka, and Zilla Parishad Higher Primary School Khursapur in Savner taluka.

In the private management group, prizes were distributed to Lakhotia Bhutada Vidyalaya and Junior College Kondhali in Katol taluka, Sri Sathyasai Secondary School Narsala in Nagpur Rural taluka, and New English High School Mohapa in Kalameshwar taluka.

The event was attended by MLA Tekchand Savarkar, MLA Ashish Jaiswal, Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Saumya Sharma, along with the School Management Committee Chairpersons, Principals, and Group Education Officers.
