Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Announces Development Projects Worth Over ₹63 Crores for Jashpur District

Inaugurates 5 Projects Worth ₹3.64 Crores, Lays Foundation for 22 Works Worth ₹59.75 Crores

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai gifted development projects worth more than ₹63 crores to Jashpur district. At a program held at the district headquarters in Jashpur, he laid the foundation stones for 22 development works worth ₹59.75 crores and inaugurated 5 projects valued at ₹3.64 crores. These include public utility projects such as the beautification of Jai Stambh Chowk, construction of hostels, community halls, compost centers, and RR centers.

The 22 development projects for which the foundation stones were laid span multiple departments including Municipal Council, Police Department, Chhattisgarh Housing Board, and the Panchayat and Rural Road Development Department. Key projects include BT roads, CC roads, drainage and stormwater drains, community halls, sewage treatment plants, street light expansion, pond and park upgrades, hostel buildings, and road construction.

Inauguration of Beautification and Upgradation of Jai Stambh Chowk

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the beautification and upgradation of Jai Stambh Chowk in Jashpur, completed at a cost of ₹23.86 lakhs. The Chowk was originally established to commemorate India’s Independence Day.

CM Sai stated that Jai Stambh Chowk will continue to inspire future generations with the ideals of sacrifice, patriotism, and dedication of the freedom fighters, serving as a lasting symbol of national service.

He emphasized that these projects will contribute significantly to the holistic development of Jashpur district and improve citizen amenities. He also instructed officials to ensure all works are completed with high quality and within stipulated timelines.

The event was attended by Smt. Gomti Sai, Vice Chairperson of the Surguja Tribal Development Authority and MLA, Smt. Raymuni Bhagat, Jashpur MLA, along with other public representatives, senior officials, and local citizens.
