CM Launches ‘Healthy Rajasthan’ Drive on World Health Day

State-Level Program on World Health Day— ‘Our Healthy Rajasthan’ is Our Resolution, Providing Better Medical Facilities to the People is Our Priority, the Promise Made to the Public Will Be Fulfilled on Time, This is Our Working Style – Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma – Launch of Various Campaigns, Programs, and Schemes in the Medical Sector

Jaipur : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma said that with the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat and Viksit Rajasthan’, we are moving forward with commitment towards realizing the resolution of ‘Our Leading Rajasthan – Our Healthy Rajasthan’. He said that the promise we made to the people of the state will be fulfilled on time under all circumstances. There will be no negligence in this; this is our working style.

Launch of Niramay Rajasthan Campaign—

Shri Sharma said that inspired by Prime Minister Shri Modi, the state government has made positive improvements in health services in the past year. He said that keeping health at the center, on the occasion of World Health Day today, a broad public campaign like Niramay Rajasthan and various health schemes have been launched. These include:

  • India’s first dedicated program under the National Health Mission for Type-1 Diabetes care, Mission Madhuhari
  • Launch of Mukhyamantri Ayushman Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana
  • Green flag to 24 Mobile Medical Units ‘Ram Rath’ and 10 Advanced Life Support Ambulances
  • Launch of Breastfeeding Management Units in 29 units
  • Eat Right Rajasthan Campaign
  • Mission Liver Smile

Also launched were:

  • Mobile application for Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana
  • Package for treatment through Ayush system
  • AI-based Integrated Monitoring System
  • Hemodialysis Wards in 50 medical institutions

In addition, new departments and other facilities in various educational institutions were also inaugurated today.

Shri Sharma was addressing the launch event of the Niramay Rajasthan Campaign and various health-related schemes at Rajasthan International Centre on Monday. Extending best wishes on World Health Day, he said patients see doctors as gods and doctors play a crucial role in building a healthy society. He appealed to all the residents of the state to become part of the Niramay Rajasthan campaign, turn it into a people’s movement, and help realize the vision of Ayushman Rajasthan.

The Chief Minister said that Indian cultural practices promote a healthy lifestyle. Saints and sages have also contributed to promoting good health. The nine days of Navratri, through discipline, fasting, and spiritual practice, teach us that our culture has always emphasized health.

Health is Prime Minister’s Top Priority—

Shri Sharma said that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given top priority to health. He has understood the pain of villages, the poor, and women, and has taken concrete steps to transform health services. Schemes like PM Jan Arogya Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and PM Jan Aushadhi Kendras have brought a revolution in the healthcare sector across the country.

India’s First Dedicated Program for Type-1 Diabetes Care Launched—

The Chief Minister said that the state government has launched India’s first dedicated program for Type-1 Diabetes care, Mission Madhuhari, under the National Health Mission. He said it was started as a pilot project in 12 district and sub-district hospitals in Jaipur, Nagaur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur. It is now being gradually rolled out in all districts of the state. Also, the Mukhyamantri Ayushman Adarsh Gram Panchayat Yojana launched today is an innovative step toward improving health indicators. Under this, a Gram Panchayat achieving 100% in major health indicators will be awarded an incentive amount of ₹11 lakh.

Launch of Eat Right Rajasthan and Mission Liver Smile—

Shri Sharma said the Mission Liver Smile program launched today for prevention, care, and treatment of Fatty Liver Disease will prove to be an effective step. Also, the Eat Right Rajasthan campaign was launched today to promote good health by staying away from junk food. He said that exclusive breastfeeding is essential for the better physical and mental development of infants. Accordingly, Breastfeeding Management Units were launched today in 29 units of 12 medical college hospitals and 17 district hospitals.

He mentioned:

  • Teaching Management System
  • Skill Centre in Medical College Jodhpur
  • Modular Operation Theatre at Umaid Hospital Jodhpur
  • Centre of Excellence for Medical Genetics at JK Lone Hospital Jaipur
  • Reproductive Medicine and Surgery Department and Women’s Hostel at Women’s Hospital, Sanganeri Gate, Jaipur

All of these will play a crucial role in accelerating the resolution of Niramay Rajasthan.

No Shortage of Human Resources in Medical Department—

The Chief Minister said the state government has made substantial and positive reforms in health services over the past year. Rajasthan has declared 3,355 TB-free Gram Panchayats, securing third place in the country. Recruitment on over 24,000 posts in the medical field has been completed, and work is rapidly progressing for recruitment on around 26,000 additional posts. No shortage of human resources will be allowed in the medical department.

He said that in the financial year 2024-25, a budget allocation of ₹27,660 crore was made for health – the highest ever for the sector. In the 2025-26 budget, this has been increased to approximately ₹28,865 crore. To strengthen the infrastructure, innovations like Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Health Infrastructure Mission, MA Voucher, Rajasthan Digital Health Mission, and Queue Management System have been introduced.

During the event, Minister of Medical and Health, Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar said that India is the world’s youngest country, and following the Fit India Movement of PM Narendra Modi, the Niramay Rajasthan Campaign has been started in the state. This campaign will emphasize both disease prevention and early care. Under CM Shri Bhajanlal Sharma’s leadership, the state government is bringing about unprecedented changes in the medical sector through various campaigns, recruitments, innovations, and schemes.

Dr. Shiv Sareen, Director of ILBS, gave a detailed presentation on liver-related diseases, prevention, and care.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister:

  • Unveiled a Digital Coffee Table Book
  • Honored the State TB Unit for excellent work under the TB-free Gram Panchayat campaign
  • Felicitated the best-performing districts with the most TB-free Panchayats
  • Honored medical staff for outstanding service

He also distributed kits to beneficiaries under Mission Madhuhari and accepted 117 TrueNat machines donated by IOCL under CSR for the health department.
