Over 60 lakh mothers benefit from Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana in UP under Yogi govt

Lucknow : The Yogi government is leading the way in the country in women’s economic and social empowerment through effective implementation of welfare schemes. Under the Mission Shakti campaign, sustained efforts are being made to promote self-reliance, dignity, and progress for women.

As part of this, over 60 lakh mothers across the state have benefited from the PM Matru Vandana Yojana, which provides financial assistance to improve maternal nutrition and overall health.

More than two lakh women across the state have also gained from the PM SVANidhi Yojana, which offers loans and skill training to promote self-employment and financial independence.

Guided by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Mission Shakti focuses on women’s safety, education, and empowerment, with social welfare groups working alongside government departments to widen its impact.

Through Mission Shakti, women are being educated about their legal rights, self-employment opportunities, and safety measures. The state is also taking strict action against perpetrators of violence, enabling women to pursue their aspirations fearlessly.
