A Practically Revenue-Based Model Should Be Developed: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari — QR Codes Installed at Various Exhibition Venues in JKK

Jaipur . A presentation was given on Wednesday at the Tourism Bhawan before Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari regarding the implementation of the budget announcement made for the Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK). The presentation was delivered by JKK’s Additional Director General Mrs. Alka Meena, in the presence of Secretary of Tourism, Art & Culture, and JKK Director General Mr. Ravi Jain through video conferencing.

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari directed that the allocated budget amount of ₹8 crore for JKK be used for creative development works. She also instructed that a practically revenue-based model be developed for the operation of JKK to support the preservation of art and artists. She stated that the government is committed to preserving and developing arts and crafts. If artists and art forms are given regular platforms, then arts and crafts can remain alive and well-preserved. She also directed that QR codes be installed at various exhibition venues in JKK to provide detailed information to visitors about each location.

Diya Kumari also instructed the digitization of JKK data, replacing traditional hoardings used for daily events with LED display boards to keep the public informed, development of the library, and providing artisans with regular opportunities to display and sell the best art products from across the state at the Shilp Gram.

Adopt Solar Energy – Save Electricity Costs —
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed the use of solar energy in JKK, stating that this will help reduce electricity expenses.

A detailed presentation on IT, technical, and civil works to be undertaken was given by JKK’s Additional Director General Mrs. Alka Meena.
