Police Force to be Strengthened with Advanced Equipment – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Amravati : Vehicles are being provided to the police force through the District Annual Plan to ensure effective enforcement. In the coming days, the police will be further empowered with advanced tools and technology, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
At Kondeshwar, Chief Minister Fadnavis inaugurated several new facilities for the Amravati Rural Police, including a residential building, an administrative building, new four-wheeler vehicles for both rural and city police, an air-conditioned traffic control room, and a women’s rest center.

Present at the occasion were Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, MP Dr. Anil Bonde, MLAs Ravi Rana, Kevalram Kale, Umesh alias Chandu Yawalkar, Pratap Adsad, Pravin Tayade, Pravin Pote-Patil, Director General (Housing) Archana Tyagi, Divisional Commissioner Shweta Singhal, Special IG Ramnath Pokale, District Collector Saurabh Katiyar, Police Commissioner Naveenchandra Reddy, SP Vishal Anand, and Municipal Commissioner Sachin Kalantre, among others.
CM Fadnavis stated that the government is committed to the modernization of the police force. With modern resources, citizen safety will be enhanced and policing will become more efficient. Advanced tools will also aid police personnel in their duties, improving their quality of life. Introducing state-of-the-art vehicles into the police force is crucial from a security standpoint. Additionally, high-quality housing is being constructed through the Police Housing Corporation. The DG Loan Scheme has also been launched to help police officers and staff obtain homes of their own.
Emphasizing the need to provide excellent facilities to those who ensure public safety, he noted that amenities like air-conditioned control rooms and women’s rest centers for city police will be of great assistance. During the event, the foundation stone for the Shahanoor government residential building was unveiled, and 18 four-wheeler vehicles were inaugurated. The keys to the new residential quarters at Kondeshwar were handed over to police personnel.
