Golden Opportunity to Prepare for Officer Posts in the Indian Armed Forces; Free Training for SSB Course
Mumbai : A golden opportunity has opened up for young men and women from Maharashtra who aspire to become officers in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. The Government of Maharashtra is organizing the 61st SSB Course from May 5 to May 14, 2025, at the Pre-Military Training Center, Nashik Road, Nashik. Selected trainees will be provided free training, accommodation, and meals during the course.
Candidates from Mumbai City District interested in participating must appear for an interview on April 24, 2025, at the District Sainik Welfare Office, Mumbai City. Applicants are required to download the admit card and annexures for the SSB-61 course from the Department of Sainik Welfare, Pune (DSW) website, fill them in completely, and bring them on the day of the interview.
Eligibility:
To participate in this training, candidates must meet any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Have passed the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE-UPSC) or National Defence Academy Examination (NDA-UPSC) and be eligible for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview.
- Hold an NCC ‘C’ Certificate with a grade of ‘A’ or ‘B’ and a recommendation for SSB from the NCC Group Headquarters.
- Possess an SSB interview call letter for the Technical Graduate Course.
- Have received an SSB interview call letter or have their name on the recommendation list under the University Entry Scheme.
