District Administration Committed to Supporting ‘Children’s Aid Society’ – Mumbai City Collector Anchal Goyal

Mumbai : Administrative service offers an opportunity to reach and serve the most marginalized sections of society. The district administration is sensitive to the initiatives being undertaken by the Children’s Aid Society and is fully committed to providing the necessary support to the organization, said Mumbai City District Collector Anchal Goyal.

A special event with the children of the observation home/shelter at Umarkhadi was organized under the leadership of Collector Goyal, as part of the diamond jubilee celebrations of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Integral Humanism philosophy. The programme was jointly hosted by the Mumbai City District Collectorate and the District Women and Child Development Office.

Collector Goyal emphasized the importance of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s Integral Humanism and highlighted the value of offering individuals the chance to rectify mistakes made in life. She also shared insights and experiences from various stages of his life.

During the visit, the Collector reviewed the activities of the Children’s Aid Society, interacted with the children involved in skill-based activities, and inspected the premises of the observation home.

Also present on the occasion were Mumbai City Deputy Collector (General Administration) Ganesh Sangle, District Women and Child Development Officer Shobha Shelar, Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Thakur from Dongri Police Station, as well as staff and officers from the Children’s Aid Society and the District Women and Child Development Department.
