Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Inaugurates Grand Jora Mall

One-stop destination for shopping and entertainment under one roof

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the grand Jora Mall in the capital city of Raipur. On this occasion, he offered prayers and sought the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, wishing for the prosperity, happiness, and well-being of all. As part of the event, he also inaugurated a fully-equipped cinema hall within the mall and viewed a video showcasing the good governance of the state government.

Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Sai said that the day marks a special occasion for the residents of the capital. The newly launched mall will provide all essential products, entertainment, and services associated with modern lifestyles—conveniently available under a single roof. He emphasized that the mall will create employment opportunities for the local youth and significantly boost the region’s economic activities. He added that the establishment would help enhance and simplify the urban lifestyle, making it more prosperous and convenient.

Chief Minister Sai noted that this mall has come to life after nearly 12 years of development. He praised the experience of the mall’s management and said that their long-standing expertise as industrialists will benefit this new venture. He extended his congratulations and best wishes to the residents of the area and everyone involved in the establishment.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Dr. Raman Singh, remarked that the formal inauguration of Chhattisgarh’s largest mall took place today. He recalled that the project began 12–13 years ago under the name “Treasure Island,” and after a long journey, it has now opened with a refreshed identity. He affirmed that the mall will become a premier destination for shopping and entertainment for residents of Raipur and the state. With Raipur increasingly gaining recognition as a developed capital city, this mall will play a role in reinforcing that reputation.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao also addressed the inaugural ceremony and extended his best wishes.

The event was also graced by Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Shri Tankram Verma, MLAs Shri Amar Agrawal, Shri Anuj Sharma, and Shri Motilal Sahu; CSIDC Chairman Shri Rajeev Agrawal; CMDC Chairman Shri Saurabh Singh; RDA Chairman Shri Nandkumar Sahu; BCCI Treasurer Shri Prabhtej Singh Bhatia; and the mall’s operator Shri Vijay Jhavar.
